Trash 2 Treasure Tuesdays #8 and Giveaway Winner!

My cats know how to chill during the holidays!
And it's a mad rush to Christmas!  WAIT.  Wait right there.  Please don't make it a "Mad Rush".  Sit back, enjoy the festivities.  Read the Christmas story to your children and sip hot chocolate.  Relax and make it memorable.  It's not about seeing how much shopping we can cram into the next few weeks, and how many parties we can attend.  It's all about how many Christmas crafts we can make and how beautiful our tree is!  JUST KIDDING!!!  "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."  Matthew 1:21.  That's what it's all about, right there!

First order of business today: We have a Cutting Edge Stencil Giveaway winner!!!
Rafflecopter dug deep into the hat and picked:

#96 Sarah Brescia

Sarah has been contacted and let's hope she shares with us what she does with her new stencil!

And now the POST WITH THE MOST:
How many of us have a plain wood crate hanging around?  Well, I do!  And I think I know what I want to do with it now!  Check out what Becky did with hers using some hinges, plywood, and a few more materials...
And last but def not least, these plates are super sweet and she shares a swell tutorial  on how she did them!  Thanks, Kristine from The Painted Hive, for sharing your inspiration with those of us who need an inspirational boost!

  4. Kammy--Was looking through the old posts, and love the library card catalog end table. Hubby just got a job in a HS library and is getting rid of the card catalogs. I thought it would make a great cabinet for scrapbook stuff, but I'm really liking the end table idea you posted! Thanks for posting the ideas! Beth Peppler
